Feeds are well established in any social platform these days. They allow to share important airline news with your pilots and in future will allow pilots to share things with their contacts!
There are 3 types of feeds present in Newsky:
- Global feed: contains all types of posts from System and your airlines.
- My Airlines feed: contains NOTAM and OPERATIONS posts from your airlines only.
- Book Flight feed: contains NOTAM and OPERATIONS posts from System and selected airline only.
Tags allow to filter feeds and better understand what given posts are about. There are few special tags with assigned color for easier recognition as well as function allowing them to show up in special feeds.
Special tags are:
- NOTAM: NOtice To AirMan - most recognizable as it's the most important piece of information for your pilots!
- OPERATIONS: These posts should be related to organisation of your airline operations. Examples are guidelines regarding aircraft procedures or airport gate usage.
- EVENTS: These posts help to spread the news of upcoming events in your airline.
- NEWSKY: Updates and news related to Newsky platform.
