Airport network ID must consist of 2 characters and start with number (<0-9><0-9 or A-B>)
As an airline manager you can add or remove airports to the network. This is required for scheduled flights but it's not required for free flights. Airport's within the network will have 10% reduction in terminal fees.
Adding or removing airport will carry a one time fee based on airport size and each airport will introduce daily fees based on number and size of rented gates.
If airport is not in the network and is used during a free flight a full terminal fee will be charged and single large gate renting charge will be applied for the day that airport was used.
Currently each airport added to the network will have only one large gate. In future more functionality will come including gate sizes and operation slots.
Hubs introduce hefty daily charge based on airport size but allow for even more savings. Hub airports allow for 30% terminal fees reduction and 20% cheaper fuel so they are great option when lots of scheduled flight originate at one airport.
These are fees related to passenger handling and landing your aircraft on given airport. They are not ground handling fees described in Aircraft Economy page.
Passenger handling fees are applied at the departure airport and are based on airport size.
Landing fee is appliead at the arrival airport and is based on airport size, aircraft size and type.
Fuel is loaded on departure airport and it's cost depends on that airports current fuel prices. Newsky will provide way to check fuel prices at different airports.
